Sylhet Cadet College is the first Cadet College of independent Bangladesh. This college is situated amid a vast green valley surrounded by tea garden and is the home of many future leaders of our land. More than 300 cadets undergo a special curriculum based on blend of National Education Board curriculum and elementary military training. These help the cadets to develop themselves as well-disciplined and responsible citizens who can lead their own arena for the wellbeing of our nation. We are living in the twenty first century in the spectrum of information. The dynamics of the information age demands developing the students with technological savvy, courage, devotion, social value and above all human qualities. With this aim this college has developed a dynamic environment for the cadets to grow and develop holistically.

It is notable here that, this college had outstanding results in JSC, SSC and HSC examinations held under the Sylhet Education Board since inception. Till now, about 1800 Cadets have passed out from this college and they bear the testimony of showing how Sylhet Cadet College has created vision within them in their tender age.

Sylhet Cadet College is run under Council of Cadet Colleges chaired by Secretary, Ministry of Defence and Governing Body chaired by Adjutant General, Bangladesh Army, where Governing Body is the Executive body of the College. A team of true mentors and a group of hard working employees work here with utmost sincerity, devotion and envy.

Sylhet Cadet College is keeping pace with the vision of Bangladesh Government for Digital Bangladesh and has taken effort to digitalise various administrative and academic segments.
